Surprise! It's a Girl!

We are in the process to adopt a little girl from China.  We have finished our homestudy, and we have been given provisional approval (PA) from China to adopt a sweet little girl who just turned 1 this week.

She lives in an orphanage in the Jiangxi province.  We are going to be in a process of hurry up and wait for the next 6-8 months until we can travel to China to pick her up.  We will fill out lots of forms, mail them off, and then wait for approvals from various agencies.  There are lots of "abbreviations" that we will celebrate along the way.  We already have PA, so our next milestone is I-800A approval.  That is approval from the US government to adopt a child internationally.  This is currently running 2 - 2.5 months.
